Argentina legend Diego Armando Maradona has just been fired from his position as coach of the Arab League, Al Wasl. Now he is looking for a job in China.
Men who also coached the Argentina national team expressed interest in training in one of the China Super League KUB.
"I am very happy to train in China. I will contribute to the development of young players in China," he said upon arrival in Beijing for a charity event for eight days, as reported by China Daily.
As expressed by La Gazzetta dello Sport, an agent of the former Argentina national team had made contact with officials in China over recent months. The target is to hire him as coach of China.
Maradona will further enliven the Chinese soccer star following in the footsteps of former European number, such as former Chelsea star Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka, who played in Shanghai Shenua.
The club is also dilataih by Sergio Batista, who previously had to replace Maradona's Argentina national team coach after the World Cup 2010.
