iMessage in iPhone Settings
Go to Settings> Messages> Receive At> Caller ID and use iCloud email as Caller ID. Do not forget to turn off the Send As SMS because SMS messages can not be taken to other Apple devices.
Although using the phone number has its own advantages in which the recipient can reply using SMS, use the phone number as the Caller ID will complicate the process of synchronization. This is because you can not use the phone number as the Caller ID on the iPod touch, iPad and Mac.
