Air Division Commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh expressly stated that if Israel attacked Iran then World War III would break out, Press TV, Sunday (23/9).
In a statement, Hajizadeh warned Israel against Iran strike could trigger World War III. If that happens, some countries are pros and cons with Iran would intervene.
"We know the United States and the Zionist regime of Israel as a great power. If this attack actually happened, World War III will not inevitable, as some countries will take part," Hajizadeh said.
Earlier, Israel often threatens to destroy Iran's nuclear installations. Israel argues if Iran's nuclear program is not for peaceful purposes, but rather leads to the manufacture of nuclear weapons.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran considers the U.S. bases in the region as part of the land of America and of course go after all that, if war broke out," he said.
On Saturday, IRGC Commander Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari said, the war against Iran will eventually happen. The war will happen but do not know exactly where and when. Iran ready to face any possible attack launched against the country.
