As a programmer, I use cakephp framework to build any web application such as an online store, a simple blog, enterprise information systems and online payment system. Cakephp framework is very tough to handle various requests, problems and my desire. Cakephp framework now has reached version 2.0. This is the latest version of the coding is very different from the version 1.3.xx. You could say that you should learn more when using cakephp cakephp 2.0. Cakephp 2.0 is different, this is a big change in the beneficial as well as harm.


Cakephp 1.3 is built very well, but if explored further, cakephp version 1.3 has a security hole, which makes easy to use cakephp 1.3 but vulnerable to attack. Cakephp 1.3 have a complete documentation, many communities and many plugins and scripts that support.

While cakephp 2.0 does not have complete documentation, because it has not been widely used cakephp 2.0. Many scripts and plugins that have not fully support. Applications built using cakephp 1.3 also can not be updated to version 2.0. This is the most harmful. Supposedly, the developer can update cakephp core system with ease.

It is a framework that is reliable and suitable for any website. Problem in a slightly different version of 2.0 will be answered over the coming months. People will start using the latest version for sure when the documentation was complete.
