Thomson, corporate travel services provider in the UK, making open via Twitter contest to name the plane passengers. Through Twitter account, Thomson Airways (@ ThomsonHolydays) invite tweeps to give the proper name for the Boeing 787 Dreamliners, which the airline uses as a tourist.
According to Chris Browne, Managing Director of Thomson Airways, the contest is a great way to engage consumers in celebrating the 50th anniversary of his company. Thomson was the first airline to operate aircraft in the United Kingdom-made Boeing Commercial Airplanes, the 787 Dreamliner.
If the name suggested by tweeps elected it will be installed in the fuselage with a capacity of 200-350 passengers. Tweep who wins will be invited to enjoy a tour flying together (flight on-board) with a crew Thomson Holidays.
For this contest, tweeps need only mention the name of the aircraft and the advice they gave the name, and add hastag # nameourplane. Winners will be selected by the jury and that includes tweeps twitpic original image of the aircraft takes precedence.
