Kinetoscope used to view moving images by means of a peep hole, Lumiere makes it capable of projecting moving images that can be enjoyed together.
At December 28, 1895, for the first time dozens of people being in a room watching a movie projected onto a big screen.
Lumiere brothers rented an old billiard room in the basement at the Boulevard des Capucines, Paris, which became known as the world's first cinema. The place was then known as the Grand Cafe and became the most popular in Europe.
