Lil Wayne began writing his first rap at the age of 8 years, and met with rapper and owner of Cash Money Records, Bryan Williams, in 1991. From this initiated his career as a rapper.
At the age of 16 years, Lil Wayne has had a daughter with his partner Reginae Carter, who is a school friend. But then they divorced.
Over time, he became a rapper known. Fall up to the album's success also had him naturally. In March 2010, Lil Wayne was sentenced to eight months' imprisonment for the possession of illegal weapons and drugs
CAREER
1991-1999
At the age of nine, Lil Wayne joined, as the youngest member, the Cash Money Records. His first rap group The B.G 'z formed when she was 11 years old, along with BG who was then 14 years old. In 1997, she joined the group Hot Boys along with Jevenile, BG, and Young Turk. Together with Hot Boys, Lil Wayne released his first album Guemilla Warfare, released in 1999, almost simultaneously with the album itself, Tha Block Is Hot which sold over a million copies in America.
2000-2007
His second album, Lights Out (2000), and the next album, 500 Degreez (2002) was not so successful in the market. However, in 2004, Lil Wayne again showed itself through the album Tha Carter (2004) and its sequel, Tha Carter II (2005). In 2006 and 2007, he released several mixtape and mesuk the ranks of rappers and R & B are popular.
2008-Now
The most successful album Tha Carter III was released in 2008 and immediately sold over a million copies in just a week. After that, in 2010 he released the album Rebirth at the beginning of the year, and I Am Not a Human Being in September, when he was in captivity. And albunya the ninth, Tha Carter IV was released in August 2011.
Lil Wayne is also listed in the Guinness Book Of World Records 2012 for the category of Most U.S. Hot 100 Hits By A Rap Artist with 64 of his hit single of the year 1999-2010.
